Job Summary of Retail Banker:
Your role involves supporting sales operations, carrying out exceptional service tasks, and aiding the customer service department. The main aim of this position is to fortify client relationships, build loyalty, and help grow individual consumer accounts by providing customized financial offerings and an exceptional customer experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Banker:
- Offer assistance for business credit applications not exceeding $250,000 and guide larger financing options to the suitable divisions within the company.
- Create referral networks by leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program to generate new leads.
- Create support mechanisms to increase the customer base of small enterprises and enforce sales initiatives to cater to the targeted Book of Business demographic.
- Provide outstanding customer support by actively reaching out to clients through calls as well as handling incoming inquiries, fostering stronger ties with current customers and gaining new ones.
- Provide training sessions for Tellers and branch staff members on understanding product options, recognizing customer needs, and making relevant referrals.
- Provide clients with knowledge about the full spectrum of service and online platforms, employing marketing techniques to introduce offers on products and financial answers.
- Ensure conformity with Citibank regulations, protocols, and industry standards when analyzing risks and securing Citibank’s investments.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Banker:
- Candidates with 0-2 years of relevant experience in banking, retail, or sales are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies is crucial for keeping up to date with innovations in the financial industry.
- Conforming to the standards set by the NMLS Safe Act, fully registered and in compliance.
- Effective communication skills in both written and oral forms.

Salary:
The yearly income falls between $54,100.00 and $75,500.00.
