Providing oversight to ensure customer experiences are at or above expected levels is a key responsibility of the Team Leader. They oversee team members' performance and guide them in executing tasks in adherence to the standards set by the company. Responsibilities:

Leadership and Communication

  • Ensures the safeguarding and enhancement of the Whataburger Brand continuously.
  • Informs management if unable to attend work as originally planned.
  • - Makes sure to attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Relays concerns that are outside the Team Leader's jurisdiction to the Manager on duty.
  • Aims to refine one's individual leadership style for increased productivity and better outcomes.

  • Guarantees that all merchandise is crafted in adherence to established quality benchmarks and distributed within the specified service timeframe.
  • Supervises Drive-Thru operations to guarantee timely service delivery.
  • Upholds the restaurant's appearance to align with Whataburger's established criteria continuously.
  • Fosters positive customer relationships among team members.
  • Verifies that all activities adhere to the prescribed policies and procedures.
  • Creates shift summaries to update management and other stakeholders on significant events.
  • Ensures the safe operation of all equipment in adherence to company standards.

Customer

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by delivering orders in a timely fashion.
  • Preserves the visual appeal of the dining establishment to cultivate a positive reputation.
  • Addresses customer concerns following company guidelines and prioritizes customer satisfaction.

Finance

  • Exhibits financial accountability in managing company assets.
  • Complies with established cash handling procedures within the organization to maintain precision.
  • Supervises the procedures for cash management and overseeing inventory checks.
  • Responsible for preparing cash deposits and maintaining the currency exchange reserve.
  • Oversees expenses related to staffing and food supplies to maintain productivity levels.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have the capacity to lift objects up to 50 pounds in weight.
  • Capacity to stay upright during the entire shift.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push.
  • Repeated interaction with water, detergents, and edible goods.
  • Frequent handwashing.
