Job Summary of Merchandise Planner:

This role manages sales forecasting and inventory planning to align with brand strategy and customer demand. The position combines analytical insight, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer satisfaction and meet financial targets.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Merchandise Planner:

• Analyze historical performance and current trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop preseason sales, gross margin, and inventory plans by division and department.
• Align bottom-up category plans with overall financial objectives.
• Present forecasts and strategies in open-to-buy meetings.
• Manage inventory and reforecast sales for basic styles to meet financial goals.
• Communicate weekly results and forecasts to management and cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with teams across merchandising, visual, distribution, and planning functions.

Qualifications and Experience of Merchandise Planner:

• Advanced Excel skills and strong system proficiency.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across diverse business units.

Salary:

$79,800 - $105,800 USD.
