Job Summary of Customer Service Lead:

This position plays a vital role in supporting front-end operations and delivering outstanding customer experiences. This individual will lead day-to-day customer service activities while modeling professionalism, encouraging team collaboration, and ensuring a customer-first approach across all interactions. The role requires leadership capabilities, a solutions-focused mindset, and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency and friendly service standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Customer Service Lead:

• Lead and support customer service efforts at the front end of the store, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
• Model Burlington values and reinforce Burlington’s customer-first service philosophy to front-end associates.
• Oversee register transactions and resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure checkout speed and friendliness through team coaching and hands-on support.
• Coordinate team scheduling for breaks and meals while ensuring adherence to store coverage requirements.

Qualifications and Experience of Customer Service Lead:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Capable of lifting boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and standing or walking for extended periods.
