Job Summary:

Joining Canada Post as a part-time Post Office Assistant provides an opportunity to play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the efficient processing of mail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enhance customer satisfaction by promoting postal products and services to both public and corporate clients.
• Sorting mail accurately and distributing it to the right recipient ensures timely processing of mail.
• Furnish patrons with direction, facts, and requisite paperwork.
• Ensure timely resolution of delivery and service complications in a comprehensive manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• The eligibility criteria for this position call for a high school diploma, provincial equivalency certificate, or relevant exposure to the world of business administration.
• Evidence of adeptness in public interaction in a retail/service environment, managing sales and handling cash transactions.
• Understanding of the financial management systems implemented in general or postal offices.
• It is important to have the physical ability to manage mail containers weighing up to 50 lb, handle boxes, sort mail, and remain standing for extended periods when performing this job.
