Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency of multiple restaurants within a specific market area. The position involves driving performance, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety, and managing the employee experience to align with the company’s core values. The Area Supervisor will play a key role in creating strategies for continuous improvement, managing financial goals, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire teams, managing all aspects of the business operations.
- Develop and implement strategic solutions for the effective management of multiple restaurants.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of employees who embody the company’s values.
- Demonstrate integrity in leadership to foster a safe and inclusive workplace culture.
- Adopt an ownership mentality, extending leadership influence beyond the restaurant into the local community.
- Create a positive atmosphere for guests and employees, promoting a welcoming environment.
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness and upkeep align with brand standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in leading and managing highly motivated teams.
- Proficient in cost control and inventory management within a restaurant or similar environment.
- Proven ability to hire, train, and retain a high-performing team while fostering a fun work environment.
- Enjoyment of customer interactions, both internal and external.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push occasionally.
- Ability to read orders, tickets, menu boards, and receipts.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning solutions, and food products.
- Frequent hand washing is required.
- Ability to use computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
