Distribution Supervisor

Job Summary:

Become part of the E.A. Sween family, overseeing the delivery team's operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective distribution to 7-Eleven stores. This role requires strong leadership skills, adherence to safety regulations, and a commitment to delivering quality service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the CDC Delivery Team's operations and activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and budgetary constraints.
• Provide mentoring and training to direct reports, including new driver training and safety programs.
• Take personal accountability for delivery and financial results, ensuring compliance with HACCP & FSMA regulations.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training, and leadership development initiatives.
• Address delivery issues and provide feedback to Store Managers, Market Managers, and Logistics Manager.
• Conduct regular meetings with Drivers and Leads, and ride with drivers to oversee route operations.
• Assist in hiring, employee relations, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and salary reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations and General Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous supervisory experience in running a distribution/logistics fleet required.
• At least 6 months of previous route delivery experience operating a straight truck.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a D.O.T. physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and desktop computer operation required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a repetitive basis and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills essential for effectively managing the delivery team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Salary:

The hourly range for this position is competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
