Job Duties and Responsibilities of CDL A Local Delivery Specialist:

• Carefully transport goods in a tractor-trailer to deliver to customers on a specified route schedule while prioritizing safety measures.
• Understand and enforce safety protocols and procedures to safeguard the safety of yourself, your team, and the merchandise being transported.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and become well-acquainted with their operations to consistently fulfill their needs and meet their expectations.
• Ensure the vehicle’s safety by performing detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Help with loading and unloading goods as needed, guaranteeing that the delivery process is conducted accurately and efficiently.
• Keep meticulous records of deliveries, documentation, and logs to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience of CDL A Local Delivery Specialist:

• Recent completers of driving school programs are invited to apply.
• It is required to be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a legitimate Commercial Driver’s License Permit.
• Capability to effectively comprehend, express, and interact using the English language.
• Able to physically transport items that weigh up to 60 pounds, with the occasional requirement to handle goods weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, and holidays as the job demands.
• Readiness to attend a CDL-A training class and accept the temporary separation from home that it entails.
