Lead Supervisor
Job Summary of Lead Supervisor:
This position supports the daily operations of the store by providing guidance, direction, and leadership to associates while ensuring exceptional service and merchandising standards. The role plays a key part in talent development, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Lead Supervisor:
- Support the development, coaching, and retention of team members through active leadership and engagement.
- Promote and educate team members on store credit and loyalty programs to enhance guest experience.
- Implement store merchandising standards and oversee inventory flow and operational procedures for consistency.
- Use business reports to evaluate store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Apply company software, systems, and standard procedures effectively to meet operational goals.
- Motivate the team to achieve results through consistent coaching, recognition, and clear communication.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that supports guest satisfaction and associate engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience of Lead Supervisor:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Experience using Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office programs, and scheduling software.
- Availability to work varied hours including mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 20 pounds.
- Must be capable of full body mobility including bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
