Job Duties and Responsibilities of Class A Local Delivery Driver:

• Skillfully operate a tractor-trailer to transport a mix of products to customer destinations based on a scheduled route plan.
• Learn and observe safety protocols and procedures to maintain the safety of yourself, your team, and the products being transported.
• Maintaining positive associations with customers and becoming well-versed in their operations are vital for consistently meeting their needs and fulfilling their expectations.
• Check the vehicle for any issues before setting out and after arriving to ensure safe operation.
• Offer assistance with loading and unloading items as required, focusing on maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the delivery process.
• Document all delivery details diligently, encompassing invoices, receipts, and logs.

Qualifications and Experience of Class A Local Delivery Driver:

• Welcome to apply are individuals who have recently graduated from driving school.
• The age requirement is a minimum of 21 years.
• Carry an up-to-date Commercial Driver’s License Permit.
• Adequate ability in reading, writing, and communicating fluently in English.
• Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing up to 40-60 pounds, occasionally dealing with items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Openness to working overtime, weekends, and holidays when the situation calls for it.
• Readiness to attend a CDL-A training class and accept the temporary separation from home that it entails.
