Job Summary of Warehouse Maintenance Technician:

You will perform preventative and on-demand maintenance on various equipment, including electrical motors, material handling systems, and more. This role involves general building and conveyor maintenance, light plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks as needed. You will also assist in directing other technicians and help maintain a smooth-running Fulfillment Center through all shifts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Maintenance Technician:

• Perform preventative and on-demand maintenance on electrical motors, material handling equipment, power tools, and other systems.
• Maintain and repair building systems such as conveyors, HVAC, plumbing, and perform carpentry and painting as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting complex electrical systems and automated control systems.
• Utilize technical knowledge to ensure equipment and machinery runs smoothly across shifts.
• Promote safety protocols and ensure safe work practices across the team.
• Operate power material handling equipment, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks (once certified).

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Maintenance Technician:

• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Ability to work with high voltage (up to 480VAC) and low voltage DC systems.
• Proficiency in using vendor manuals and procedures for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature changes.

Salary:

Competitive Pay: $28.00 / hour - $33.55 / hour, Based on Experience, plus $2.00 / hour shift differential.
