Job Summary:

Join Staples as a Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales Representative, responsible for prospecting and acquiring new small to medium business customers within a defined territory. This role focuses on high-velocity sales, utilizing various communication channels to engage prospects and drive revenue growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set a required number of appointments each week with decision-makers through effective appointment setting skills.
  • Utilize professional selling skills to discover prospect needs and effectively communicate Staples value propositions.
  • Overcome objections and close sales, leveraging prescribed selling tools to prioritize activities and document customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and specialists to progress deals and ensure compliance with new accounts/programs.
  • Bring in revenue targets of over $750K per year and create sticky accounts for long-term relationships.
  • Integrate feedback from prospects into the sales approach and stay updated on industry trends and product offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of successful sales experience or experience as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
  • 3+ years of experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM).
  • Industry knowledge is a plus.
