Mechanical Service Engineer

Job Summary:

The role involves the installation,machinery on customer premises. This position requires frequent customer interaction, ensuring that technical issues are addressed, and opportunities for machine upgrades and enhancements are identified. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing visit reports and updating technical bulletins to keep customers informed of the latest developments.

Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, repair, and maintain CMB equipment on customer premises.

• Update technical bulletins and keep customers informed of the latest developments.
• Prepare visit reports detailing activity during customer site visits.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for the sale of machine upgrades and enhancements.

• A sound knowledge of CMB products or similar products from competitors, likely to be an apprentice-trained engineer.

• Previous experience working as a mechanical fitter, production engineer, or in a similar role in capital equipment manufacturing or can plants.
• Ideally has experience working remotely on customer sites for extended periods.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Customer-focused approach with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong resilience and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
