Job Summary of Relationship Banker:
You are tasked with enhancing sales performance, providing exceptional service tasks, and aiding the customer support staff. The main goal of this position is to enhance customer connections, promote retention, and help expand individual customer portfolios by offering personalized financial options and an exceptional customer journey.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Relationship Banker:
- Provide support with business loan applications below $250,000 and direct more significant borrowing prospects to the relevant departments.
- Build referral connections via Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program to expand referral channels.
- Develop tactics to grow the customer network of small businesses and execute sales strategies for specific clientele within the Book of Business.
- Enhance customer experience by engaging in proactive communication via both outgoing and incoming phone interactions, strengthening current connections while also creating fresh ones.
- Offer guidance to bank Tellers and branch employees regarding available products, recognizing customer requirements, and facilitating suitable recommendations.
- Inform customers about various service and digital options, making use of promotional strategies to showcase available product deals and monetary resolutions.
- Adhere to Citibank’s guidelines, protocols, and legal requirements when evaluating potential risks and protecting the institution’s resources.
Qualifications and Experience of Relationship Banker:
- Ideally looking for applicants with up to two years of applicable experience in banking, retail, or sales.
- Understanding Smart Banking tools and technologies is essential for staying informed about advancements in the banking sector.
- In adherence with the criteria of the NMLS Safe Act, duly enrolled and meeting all regulatory obligations.
- Proficient abilities in conveying messages through both written and spoken language.

Salary:
The annual salary ranges from $54,100.00 to $75,500.00.
