Learning Experience Manager
Job Summary of Learning Experience Manager:
You will focus on driving training and development efforts within Gap Inc.’s Central Region Customer Contact Centers (CCCs) and Distribution Centers (DCs). Based in Groveport, OH, you will align talent strategies with business goals, ensuring employees are equipped and empowered to perform at their best. In this role, you will design onboarding programs, deliver learning strategies, and help optimize talent development to improve employee retention, engagement, and operational efficiency.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Learning Experience Manager:
- Align talent development initiatives with the strategic priorities of DCs and CCCs.
- Develop and execute scalable onboarding programs to equip employees with essential tools and knowledge.
- Design and implement learning strategies to enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement.
- Manage detailed project plans for training delivery, ensuring smooth execution.
- Support network talent development operations by managing dashboards and resource allocation.
- Mentor and partner as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on DC and CCC employee learning needs.
- Lead Train-the-Trainer (T3) sessions to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to evaluate training effectiveness and integrate improvements.
- Ensure training programs meet compliance, safety, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with HR partners and operational leaders to align training programs with workforce planning.
- Manage external contractors and vendors for high-quality learning solutions.
- Provide advisory support for organizational change initiatives impacting employees.
- Develop strategic partnerships to implement high-impact talent strategies.
- Oversee the creation and facilitation of employee development programs to support career growth.
- Manage training budgets and optimize resource allocation for maximum impact.
Qualifications and Experience of Learning Experience Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in talent management, learning & development, or related roles, with a focus on distribution and/or call center environments.
- Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other HR technologies.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives in operational settings.
- Experience designing and delivering programs for hourly and shift-based employees.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Strong ability to navigate fast-paced, dynamic environments with competing priorities.
- Experience in change management and training program implementation in large-scale operations.
