Job Summary of Truck Delivery Specialist:

Drivers will establish positive relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met on an assigned route schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Truck Delivery Specialist:

• Skillfully handle a semi-truck to transport products to customer locations securely.
• Execute the physical unloading and transportation of a mix of products, such as meats, fresh produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods.
• Maintain and cultivate positive connections with customers through friendly communication.
• Grasp customer operations to successfully address their needs and surpass their expectations.
• Abide by the designated route timelines and deliver within the specified deadlines.
• Preserve a clean driving record and follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform vehicle checks prior to departure and upon return.

Qualifications and Experience of Truck Delivery Specialist:

• Being 21 years of age or older is a prerequisite for entry.
• Demonstrate a clean record and negative drug test results during pre-employment screening.
• Keep a spotless driving history while holding a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Expertise in English communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Capacity to adapt working hours to meet the demands of overtime, weekends, and holiday shifts.
• A year’s worth of customer delivery expertise.
• Experienced in operating hand carts and hand trucks for a period of six months.
• A span of six months dedicated to Food and Beverage roles.
• Exhibiting a two-year history of unbroken work experience.
