Area Manager
Job Summary:
The Area Supervisor is accountable for optimizing the day-to-day running of various dining establishments in a specified locale. Key tasks encompass enhancing efficiency, upholding exceptional hygiene and safety protocols, and managing staff satisfaction in accordance with the company's fundamental beliefs. Essential duties involve devising strategies for continual enhancement, handling financial targets, and nurturing an all-encompassing, effective working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Encourage and empower staff, supervising all elements of the organizational functions.
- Formulate and apply strategic plans to ensure successful supervision of numerous restaurant locations.
- Manage the process of hiring, instructing, and advancing employees who align with the company's beliefs.
- Show integrity in management to nurture a culture of inclusivity and safety within the organization.
- Assume ownership mentality and expand the sphere of leadership influence from the restaurant to the local area.
- Cultivate a pleasant setting that uplifts both guests and workers, fostering a culture of openness and inclusivity.
- Maintain the restaurant's cleanliness and upkeep to meet the brand's specified criteria.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in overseeing and guiding teams that are enthusiastic and driven.
- Experienced in controlling costs and supervising inventory in a restaurant or alike facility.
- Established track record in selecting, coaching, and keeping a top-performing group of employees while promoting a positive and engaging office setting.
- Taking delight in interactions with clients, both within the company and from outside.
Requirements:
- Being at least 18 years old is a requirement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Capability to remain upright or seated for extended periods without difficulty.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push occasionally.
- Proficiency in understanding written instructions on orders, tickets, menu boards, and receipts.
- A valid driver's license is a prerequisite for this position.
- Hands coming into frequent contact with water, cleaning solutions, and food substances.
- Hand washing on a regular basis is necessary.
- Skilled in utilizing computers, telephones, and additional office tools.
